Because this group is broad, judging a listing on freshness, turnover and how consistent recent reviews are tends to work better than judging by decor or price range alone. Most kitchens in San Antonio will adjust a dish for common dietary needs like gluten-free or vegetarian if you ask when ordering. Hours vary widely: diners and fast-food chains often stay open late or around the clock, while bakeries and cafes tend to open early and close mid-afternoon. Catering and food delivery businesses in Texas usually require advance notice, from a day for a small order up to a week or more for a large event, so it is worth contacting them early.
Hours are published for 7 days a week. Typical hours are 11 am–9 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach Ming’s Cafe at (210) 600-4083; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. Its website is mingsthing.com, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.
On Google it holds a rating of 4.4 out of 5 from 14 reviews, which is a strong result for a cafe in San Antonio and suggests consistent service.
San Antonio is in Texas, in the South, where summers are hot and humid, winters are short, and severe storms in spring are a fact of life; businesses run air conditioning most of the year and many open early to beat the heat. Getting around San Antonio is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Texas's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Sloopy bao bun was tender and juicy. Bulgogi Rice bowl was yummy but kinda dry. The meat felt like a burger patty that we had to shred. Staff was very kind and helpful. Atmosphere was great and clean.

Wanted to try the eggs salad, but they haven't made any yet. Enjoyed The penut butter and banna the most .

Average experience for me. The food and drinks were nothing exciting. The strawberries and cream sando was dry, hard, and tasted like it had been in the refrigerator for a few days - it definitely wasn't fresh. The spicy chicken sando wasn't much better; it gave off frozen chicken tenders vibes. On the bright side, the atmosphere was nice, and the staff was very welcoming, which made the visit pleasant despite the disappointing food.
